Wenn Du diesem Applet das Bild eines Tragflächenprofils übergibst, wird es versuchen, den Profilnamen zu ermitteln.

Profil:                            

Da es immer schwieriger wird, Java Applets in Browsern auszuführen, habe ich eine Android App programmiert, die das Gleiche macht.
Das "Profil" ist ein Bild, das lokal auf dem Computer vorliegt und grob wie das oben dargestellte aussieht.
Drücke auf "Browse...", "Durchsuchen..." oder wie der erste Knopf bei Dir auch immer heißt,
um es auf Deinem Computer zu suchen und "Transfer", um es dann analysieren zu lassen.

Optimalerweise ist es im GIF- oder PNG-Format (hochqualitative JPEGs gehen auch) mit maximal 150 KB und 1000 Pixel Breite,
und so wenig Höhe wie möglich, das Profil geht an allen Seiten bis fast an den Rand, aber nicht ganz.
Weniger Breite oder höhere Bilder gehen auch, aber dann wirds a) langsamer und gibt b) ein schlechteres Ergebnis.

Wenn das Programm bei "Preparing image.............." stehe bleibt, versuche mal den Java-Cache zu löschen:
In der Systemsteuerung unter "Java", "Temporäre Internetdateien": "Einstellungen...", "Dateien löschen..." (oder so ähnlich) und versuche es nochmal.

If you give this applet the image of an airfoil profile it will try to determine the profiles name.

Since it gets more and more difficult to run a Java Applet in a Brwoser, I wrote an Android App that does the same.
The "profile" is an image, that is stored locally on your computer and looks similar to the above one.
Press "Browse..." or whatever the first button is named to search for it on your computer and "Transfer", to get it analyzed.

Optimally it's in the GIF- or PNG-format (good-quality JPEGs also work) with 150 KB max, 1000 pixels width, and as few height as possible,
the profile fits the image, but with a border of about 20 pixels.
Less width or more height also works, but the process will a) be slower and b) will provide a worse result.

In case the program stops at "Preparing image..............", try deleting the Java-cache:
In the System settings in "Java", "Temporary Internetfiles": "Settings...", "Delete files..." (or such) and try again.
